Job Description Job Description Position Description: Maintenance Technician / Groundskeeper Job Summary The Maintenance Groundskeeper technician performs manual labor task throughout the entire property associated with plant growth and upkeep to the facility. Problem solving and attention to detail are extremely important. The ideal candidate will excel as a team member but thrive independently. General duties around the garden as they relate to the upkeep of the facility Follow protocols and follow Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs) Maintain a clean and organized work environment Ability to follow directions Flexible to pivot on short notice with emergency tasks that need to be completed Ability to stay focus with task on hand to completion Plumbing repairs for irrigation, production, and all of facility Minor electrical work testing outlets for power and troubleshooting tripped breakers Facility repairs including but not limited to doors, air fittings, table trellis pipe, equipment malfunctions, lights, ceiling tiles, etc. Property upkeep including but not limited to mowing, weeds, leaf blowing, organizing or picking up trash etc. Assisting with equipment maintenance (filters, drains, and drain pumps). Assisting with projects for on-the-job training to understand company systems Experience And Qualifications Minimum 21 years of age Knowledge of marijuana strains and anatomy Dynamic interpersonal and communication skills Weekend shift required with 2 days off in the week Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Work is performed in a production / greenhouse environment and requires the ability to stand for long periods and to operate tools or equipment. Prolonged periods of sitting or standing and bending and kneeling to obtain supplies, tools, or job completion. Employees should be able to lift 50 lbs. consistently and 80 lbs. occasionally. Employees should be comfortable with heights and walking up 14 ladders and or roofs. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
