Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A Speech
Language Pathologist (SLP) with ASHA Certification (CCC) is needed
for a contract position supporting middle school students in
Apopka, FL. This opportunity serves grades 6-8 in a school
environment and offers flexibility in scheduling with full-time and
part-time options available. The role requires strong clinical and
communication skills to provide speech-language services that
enhance student learning and communication abilities. Key
Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and provide intervention for
speech, language, and communication disorders in middle school
students (grades 6-8) Develop individualized treatment plans based
on student needs and educational goals Collaborate with teachers,
parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and compliance
with clinical standards Adapt therapy techniques to meet the
diverse needs of the student population Provide services across
multiple school sites if assigned to part-time or itinerant roles
Qualifications and Experience: ASHA Certificate of Clinical
Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Valid Florida State
License for Speech-Language Pathology Masters degree in
Speech-Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or a related
field Experience working with school-age children, particularly
grades 6-8, preferred Ability to commit to a contract duration
through late May 2026 Flexibility for on-site presence with
potential for some hybrid work arrangement Location: Apopka,
Florida (Middle School Settings) Benefits: Full-time (35 hrs/week)
and part-time (approx. 17.5 hrs/week) schedules available Contract
