Innovative, Secure, and Outcome-Based SolutionsDirector, Air Force & Space Force GrowthThe Director, Air Force & Space Force Division, is directly responsible for the growth of Belcan and Cognizant's combined service lines in delivery to the U.S. Air Force and Space Force customer. The Director will build and manage a pipeline for the identification, qualification, bidding, winning and go to market, of the Business Area, with a focus on Digital Modernization, Software Development, and Cybersecurity. The Director directly manages all growth aspects within the Business Area and reports directly to the VP of Defense Growth.Responsibilities:

• Actively contribute to defining and implementing vision and strategic roadmap to support an innovative, transformational, and growth-oriented organization.
• Develop a go to market strategy for defense pursuits and programs.
• Identify and understand federal government customer requirements and resulting business opportunities.
• Provide analysis on opportunities and risks in the defense market. Advise and make recommendations to executives on strategies and direction for the defense community.
• Identify and manage key partner relationships from routine to complex arrangements; oversee activities of such relationships; support the development of business partnerships to achieve corporate financial and growth objectives.
• Participate in Government and Industry forums and trade shows to cultivate business opportunities.
• Provide guidance for drafting contractual arrangements (i.e. Teaming Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, etc.).
• Achieve sales targets and ensure effective expenditure of Bid & Proposal (B&P) resources.
• Lead and/or contribute to pipeline development, capture strategies and proposal development.
• Source new ideas from all levels in the organization, as well as from external advisers or consultants.
• Clearly communicate achievements and shortcomings, attributing success to those involved.
• Keep management apprised of customer and competitor environments.Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with business development background.
  • 5+ years' related experience in the digital modernization, software, cybersecurity, and/or digital engineering development industry with demonstrated success in building and winning business.
  • Experience in naval systems and/or ground architectures within the Federal market (ISAF/USSF, IC).
  • Knowledge of engineering and technology practices applicable to the development of military systems and operations.
  • Proven experience in strategic planning, execution, and results.
  • Possess current and extensive contacts within the federal government community, including key decision makers, influencers, and partners in both government and within the Defense OEMs.
  • Knowledge of federal business acquisition process.
  • Demonstrated experience and relationships with relevant AF/SF Acquisition or Program Executive Offices.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; thorough, clear, and timely oral and written communications; ability to make formal presentations.
  • Demonstrated subject matter credibility.
  • Attention to detail and superior time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Active Secret clearance with eligibility for Top Secret.
  • Willing to travel (estimated 25-35%).Compensation:We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $150,000 to $200,000. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
