Advancement Job SummaryWe are seeking a Phlebotomist to join our
team. In this role, you will collect blood, tissue, and fluid
samples from patients. This is a role that can make a significant
impact in people's lives, helping them identify underlying
conditions and stay healthy. ResponsibilitiesPrioritize requests
for sample collection based on urgencyCollect patients' personal
informationDetermine the correct venipuncture method for each
patientProvide patients with reassurance during the collection
processUse sterilized needles, vials, and other equipment to draw
bloodCorrectly label samples and send for testing
QualificationsPrevious experience as a Phlebotomist or Phlebotomy
TechnicianPhlebotomy diploma preferredKnowledge of best practices
in patient identification methodsFamiliarity with the legal
requirements regarding blood draws and fluid samplesStrong computer
and data entry skills
