AdventHealth Medical Group is looking for a dynamic and quality
focused day hospitalist to join our growing team of hospitalists at
our highly rated, 364 bed (and growing) Hospital in Daytona Beach,
FL.!We are seeking a physician who will model and lead excellence
in clinical practice, doctor-patient relationships, and
professionalism while maintaining AdventHealth s Mission, Vision,
Values.The AdventHealth Daytona Beach team consists of (20) day
physicians , (4) nocturnists, and (2) APP s . Our hospitalists work
in teams rotating a 7 on /7 off schedule. Our shifts run from
(7a-7p) and (7p-7a) - 182 shifts per year.Collectively, the
AdventHealth Medical Group Hospitalists cover 5 hospitals in
Volusia and Lake counties, allowing opportunities for collegial
cross-coverage and additional shift pick-ups with generous
compensation at campuses other than the primary campus.
Requirements of the position include
- Board Certification / Eligibility through ABIM or ABFM
- Team player with patient-first mindset
- Excellent communication skills
- Active Florida license (or ability to secure active,
unrestricted licensure)
- DEA License required or ability to obtain
- Ability to collaborate closely with consultants and support
staff Practice OverviewThe practice is a part of AdventHealth
Medical Group. Our hospitalist team is a substantial percentage of
our Medical Group currently with over 80 providers. AHMG is a
sister organization of AdventHealth which employs 350+ physicians
in 27 individual service lines. This aligned model and practice
