Job Description Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) / Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Home Health – Florida Licensed We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our growing home health team. The ideal candidate is dedicated to improving patients’ communication, swallowing, and cognitive-linguistic function in the comfort of their homes. Position Summary The Speech Therapist will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, voice, fluency, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. This role involves developing individualized treatment plans and collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations Develop individualized therapy and treatment plans based on patient needs Implement standardized assessments for accurate diagnosis of communication disorders Establish measurable treatment goals and milestones Provide skilled therapy interventions in accordance with physician orders and plan of care Document evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with state and accrediting standards Communicate patient progress with physicians, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members Educate patients and families on therapeutic strategies and home programs Maintain compliance with Florida regulations and home health standards Qualifications Current Florida license as an SLP or SLPA Previous experience in home health or clinical speech pathology preferred Knowledge of communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders Ability to build rapport with patients and caregivers Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent time management and organizational skills Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care What We Offer Flexible scheduling Competitive per-visit compensation Supportive interdisciplinary team environment Opportunity to grow with a developing home health agency
