Job Summary and Qualifications We are seeking a dynamic Radiology Tech to join our team. Your primary function is performing x-rays on patients. You will also triage patients and provide other patient care services. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner. In this role you will: PerformaccurateX-Rays as ordered by the Provider while practicing radiation safety precautions to include ALARA. Prepare andtransmitimages to the Radiologist for over-read. Room patients to include taking and recording vital signs and patient history. Assistpatients and providers as needed with walking, transfer, specimen collection, exam prep, etc. Maintains cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies. Transportspatients as needed. What qualifications you will need: Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within30 daysof employment start date Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology. Must be accredited by ARRT Must be licensed by the state of Florida Two years of clinical experience in related field preferred HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital is a purpose-guided healthcare provider. We are a four-story, 150,000-square-foot hospital. We have 70 private beds and a six-bed private ICU. We provide a full range of acute care services including emergency services, inpatient and outpatient diagnostic imaging, and inpatient and outpatient surgery. Other services include cardiac catheterization, laboratory, pharmacy, and a full range of support services. Our Emergency Department (ED) is approximately 14,500 square feet. Our ED consists of 22 private treatment rooms, an EMS entrance, and a helicopter pad.
