Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first The Medical Assistant is the first contact for patient care. Responsible for administrative tasks in addition to patient care. The Medical Assistant performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. You will perform computations, other tasks, and report to the Center Administrator. The Medical Assistant performs clinical duties such as discussing symptoms and gathering and inputting information into the electronic medical records system, taking vital signs, giving injections, performing diagnostic tests, collecting specimens, drawing blood, sterilizing and cleaning equipment, and maintaining examination rooms at an outpatient care site. Use your skills to make an impact Required Must have an Active Medical Assistant Certification or Registration from the following: American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), Allied American Health (AAH), American Medical Technologists (AMT), American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA) * Foreign Medical and Nurses, National Association of Health Professionals (NAHP), National Association of Healthcare Technicians (NAHT), National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), National Healthcareer Association (NHA), or Medical Career Assessments (MedCA) 3 plus years of Medical Assistant and Phlebotomy experience in 'back-office' direct patient car Applicable State licensure in field of study (RMA/ CMA) Medication/vaccine administration experience CPR Certified This role is considered patient facing and is part of the company's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. LI-MD1 Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Pay Range The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $44,900 - $60,200 per year This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
