POSITION SUMMARY:The Sr. Recruiter will develop sourcing strategies to attract talent to the organization's operations team, to meet the business growth objectives and ensures that the right people are in the right jobs at the right time. This person will build pro-active pipelines to meet the growth plans of the organization. This role will be responsible for sourcing, pre-screening, and interviewing potential internal and external talent for just-in-time vacancies and future opportunities. They are responsible for ensuring that the processes and policies are met and hires are made in a timely manner. This person will have accountability for the deliverables of all Non-Exempt and Exempt level hiring, including skilled trades.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Active Recruiting:

  • This role is wholly responsible for the full cycle recruitment of Direct Labor and Indirect Labor level roles within the organization. This includes, but is not limited to:
    • sourcing passive and active candidates
    • editing job descriptions
    • creating requisitions in the ATS and routing for approval
    • conducting post interview debriefs
    • making verbal offers and sending offer letters to selected talent
    • dispositioning candidate with appropriate comments
    • communicating with all selected and non-selected candidates
    • setting up interviews with hiring managers and candidates
    • executing talent marketing ads and posting on appropriate sites
    • mining resume databases
    • building talent pipelines for current and future vacancies
    • The Sr. Recruiter will partner with the operations team for offsite career events.ATS:
      • The Sr. Recruiter is expected to use our recruiting technology to process all sourcing and hiring events, following all SOPs, Requisition Management Guidelines and meeting Time to Fill and Time to hire metrics.
        Talent Advisor:
        • This person is responsible for pre-screening candidate resumes for those who meet minimum qualifications and delivering a slate of qualified candidates to hiring managers as outline below:
          • Conduct telephone or video interviews with those who meet minimum qualifications to further determine their fit for positions within the company.
          • Pro-actively offer alternative roles to those who may be better suited to different opportunities.
          • Provide short summaries of each candidate as to why they are suited to the position(s)
          • Provide a slate of qualified candidates within acceptable timelines.
          • Schedule interviews for hiring leaders.
          • Conduct de-brief meetings post interviews
          • Verbally make offers to selected candidates
          • Process offer letters
          • Ensure onboarding
            Other duties may be assigned
            SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:This job requires no supervisory responsibilities. May be required to train and assist other employees.
            QUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.             EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Three+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in a high volume, manufacturing or production environment.Bachelor's degree preferredWorking knowledge of computerized program management tools such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Project and PowerPoint, as well as an applicant tracking system (ATS) is required to perform the duties of this position.
            LANGUAGE SKILLS:The employee must possess strong interpersonal and communications skills, be able to effectively present information, respond to questions from managers, applicants and the general public, proficiency in writing reports, and business correspondence.

            While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works in an office environment. Travel and overtime are required when necessary.
