Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a hands-on C# Software Engineer with experience working in a process-oriented software development environment to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals located in Melbourne, Fl. The candidate should be fluent in both software design modeling and testing best practices. The position calls for a Software Engineer working in a fast paced engineering team to who is able to analyze requirements, design test cases, model software design, develop software and test procedures with minimal supervision and who has experience with the full software development life cycle. The selected candidate will conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with other software, test and systems engineers in the planning, design, development, and implementation of workstation based solutions in support of software centric health management system. Ensures software and testing standards are me. Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university and at least 2 years of experience OR Master's Degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university * A DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance within the last 5 years Preferred Qualifications: * Experience modeling software in Rhapsody * Experience using the Atlassian Tool Suite * Familiarity with expert systems or machine learning Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
