Job Purpose Summary: Deliver and install equipment to meet or exceed customer expectations, and do so efficiently while maintaining all site health and safety regulations. Possess the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair faulty equipment safely and efficiently.No previous equipment installation experience required. On the job training will be provided.This position requires you to deliver AND install equipment.Top Responsibilities:Safety first. Foster a safe work environment by utilizing the correct safety procedures and PPE to perform daily activities.Possess and maintain a clean Class A CDL.Understand your role in delivering our Differential Value Proposition (DVP) to our customers and keep it at the top of mind with every task you perform.Effectively communicate with customers, team members, and direct/indirect supervisors.Deliver, install and pick up equipment to meet or exceed customer and Portable Air's requirements safely and efficiently.Lead and train fellow team members on driving, installations, and troubleshooting. Key Tasks & Activities:Load trucks with the appropriate equipment for each Job, drive to the job site, safely and efficiently install equipment, return to the shop, unload and clean out trucks, and return unused equipment to its designated space.Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair faulty electrical equipment.Ability to travel and be away from home for extended periods.Maintain a clean shop by taking out the trash, cleaning work stations daily, and returning tools and equipment to its assigned space with limited supervision. Requirements:This position requires you to deliver AND install equipment.Must be able to take on-call shifts and respond quickly and effectively.High school diploma or equivalent; vocational school or trade apprenticeships a plus.Must hold a valid Class A commercial driver's license and have reliable transportation to and from the shop.Honor commitment to a drug-free work environment and pass a federal background check.Ability to physically stand for long periods, bend, squat, lift 70 pounds, climb ladders, and work on elevated levels.Excellent communication skills.'This Job Is:A job for which military-experienced candidates are encouraged to applyA "Fair Chance" job (you or the employer follow Fair Chance hiring practices when performing background checks)Open to applicants who do not have a college diplomaJob Location:Cocoa, FL#zrPowered by JazzHRPI160807075
