• Plan, schedule and monitor efficient movement of material from receiving or warehouse to production floor
• Develop raw material requirements and scheduling requirements from engineering specifications and productions schedules and coordinate material movement with purchasing, warehouse and production
• Utilize Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems
• Negotiate and manage schedules for timely delivery of materials
• May interpret laws, rules and regulations regarding shipping and prepare applications for export/import control certifications and licenses
• Demonstrate the highest level of integrity between transactions
• Learn new software applications and processes
• Participate on several cross-functional teams to provide ideas for various changes for improvementQualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Operations Management, General Business Management or Business Administration
  • GPA of 3.0 or greaterPreferred Skills:
    • Experience in supply chain principles and concepts
    • Spend management tools
    • Purchasing insight into buying and selling principles, negotiations
    • Exposure to marketing for new product implementation
    • Awareness of different contract types
    • Financial and quantitative analytical skills
