multispecialty medical group is seeking an experienced,
board?certified Trauma Surgeon to join its team at a Level II
trauma facility . The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in
trauma management, emergency surgical care, and critical care, and
will work collaboratively within a diverse clinical team. Primary
Responsibilities Manage both operative and non?operative treatment
of patients with traumatic injuries Participate in a shared
emergency general surgery call schedule Deliver critical procedures
in urgent, high?acuity situations Coordinate care with colleagues
in orthopedic trauma, neurosurgery, emergency medicine, and
critical care Support trauma quality initiatives, performance
improvement efforts, and registry activities Engage in education of
residents or students (if applicable to the institution) Complete
thorough and timely clinical documentation within the EMR system
Required Qualifications Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of
Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Board Certified or Board Eligible in
General Surgery Fellowship in Acute Care Surgery or Surgical
Critical Care preferred Active medical license in the state of
practice (Florida) ATLS certification (Instructor?level preferred)
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills Ability to
function effectively in a fast?paced and high?pressure environment
Preferred Background At least two years of post?fellowship
experience in trauma or acute care surgery Work experience in a
Level II trauma setting Familiarity with trauma registry workflows,
ACS trauma standards, and quality initiatives Schedule Details
Rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays Shared
